Founded in 1921, Talgarth Bowls Club continues to provide an opportunity for members of the local community to participate in lawn bowls.

The men’s team were hugely successful over a 30 year period between 1950-1980, winning the Mid Wales League 17 times. The more recently established women’s section, won the local Brecon and Radnor league in the 2010s.

In recent years, the club has seen a sharp rise in the number of members, including a younger demographic. The club’s intention is to build on these encouraging signs, continuing to provide a fun, social, yet competitive environment for individuals across the local community.
